The actress Esha Deol who is making a comeback on big screen after 2 long years with her mother’s directorial venture ‘Tell Me O Khhuda’ is sure that the audience will accept her even after her long hiatus.
“In the west, female actors take four-year breaks, and are accepted when they return. Here, we don’t accept actors if they come back after a year or two. But I will set a trend,” says a very excited Esha Deol.
When asked wont it be difficult to nudge out the competition after such a long break, the actress says, “I’ve never been into the race. I enjoy acting, so I am part of this industry”.
It’s not just the father Dharmendra who is planning his daughter Esha Deol’s wedding but Esha Deol herself is keen on marrying when the time is right.
“I will get married. I believe that the female actors in this industry should know the right time to settle down. Lots of them get lost, as they are so busy with work. They miss out on the most important part of life, which is to have your own family and kids. I want a big happy family,” says Esha Deol.
The actress never wants to marry a guy of same profession as she couldn’t handle her husband romancing someone on screen.
“I am very possessive,” she smiles.
